Do you have more room on that Bandwagon?

Well, here it is. I got my ticket for the bandwagon and am on my way to the world of blogging. After religiously following Mary Beth's blog, Veronica's and others, I decided I wanted to be part of the cool group. So here it is: I am a blogger.

I assure you it won't be nearly as funny as MB (oh yeah, I stole your old blog format. Thanks!), although some of our stories will probably interlap. It won't be filled with as much culture or accidents as Veronica, because I am just not willing to hurt myself for the amusement of other. ;) Hopefully, it will be random and help me figure out what I did last week. So here goes for my first story/blog entry:

I have or had a Ghost living in my apartment last Sunday night. That's right, I am so much fun to hang with that even dead people want to be a part of it. So why exactly is my ghost coming at night? You got me.

So Sunday night, Ben and I decide to go to sleep and are just about to enter the wonderful world of sweet, sweet slumber when I hear crashing in my bathroom. We instantly wake up and Ben being the brave protector that he is turns on all of the lights and searches my 600 and something square foot apartment to find nothing. Alright that's a little weird, nobody was there to kill us....so we turn off lights and try to sleep again.

And that's when I knew it was a ghost. So a couple of hours later, all I know is I am waking up to my bedroom light on. I know for a fact that it was turned off when we went back to sleep but I guess it just didn't want to stay off. There it was glaring at us with its big ol' bright face, waking us up again. Not cool. Although it didn't scare me enough to keep me awake for the rest of the night, I was thinking about it all day Monday at work.

Thank God, I work with Dierdra. She told me to go home and tell the ghost that it wasn't welcome in my aparment and to leave. Followed by the advice of my mom: Please don't hurt me.

As for right now, it is 3 days into my ghost banishment and I have not been awoken by the energy wasting ghost. Good thing too, because I hate paying my electric bill.
